Sir,

I understand that under the revised scheme of salaries for Cadet Officers of the Hongkong Government I am entitled to a salary of £750 per annum as from the 1st January of this year, whereas at present I am being paid at the rate of £650 per annum only.

The Crown Agents for the Colonies inform me that they cannot pay me any increase or arrears until they receive instructions from the Government.
